Abu Bakr as-Siddique

- best friend of the Prophet
- Name: Abduallah ibn Uthman
- known for his upright character
- known for speed in which he would do things. Ex: following commandments
- Siddique: excessively truthful
- known for his humbleness. If he dropped something h e would get it himself instead of asking someone else.
- known for his gentleness. Ex: you could hear his crying.

"No wealth has benefitted me as much as the wealth of AbuBakr"

-AbuBakr saved his money so he could free Bilal (R.A)
-Surah Al-'Alaa proves AbuBakr's intention in freeing Bilal was for the sake of Allah (swt)
-He is mentioned 6 times in the Quran.
-AbuBakr was chosen as a companion to travel/make hijrah with Rasuallah.
-A scorpion bit AbuBakr while in the cave but he didn't move in fear of waking up Rasuallah (saw) who was sleeping on his lap. Only when his tear fell on him did he wake up.
-The companions always asked what action was most beloved to Allah so they could get the highest reward
-AbuBakr's every aspect of life was balanced.
